Default Whoopie another one dem motor + tranny install posts!!

Hi i just did some reading about installing the motor and tranny from the bottom and pretty much decided on doing this from the get go. I have access to a lift so i will be using that. My question is this: instead of removing the entire front suspension can i just unbolt the A arms, rack and pinion, etc just like i did for my k member install? (i have a pro fab k member). I would prefer this since it would mean less removal of stuff (ie brake lines). I don't forsee any problems doing this but then again i am very inexperienced and is why i am asking.

well you would then need to go get an alignment afterwards.

I need to do that anyway since i haven't driven the car since i installed my K member. The car has been down for over a year. Thanks for the reply. Anything else?

Pulling from the top worked best for me.

I am not pulling the motor i am installing it and i want everything together when i install it. I have access to a lift so this is pretty much a no brainer. I just wanted to know if there was a problem with only removing the k member and not the entire from suspension.
