TR55's. The 6's are basically for nitrous use.

I heard some guys here in the forum having knock issues with the TR55 over 5500 rpm’s I can only imagine how it will be with 89 octane

You're in the middle east and have trouble getting gas?

Irony?

Do you have a tuner to pull some timing so you don't knock?

I wouldn't floor the car too much on 89.

i belive the ls1 engine was designed for no less than 91 octane. also the tr55 plugs are for a more na application.

He's probably asking assuming the incorrect theory that the colder plug would be less likely to knock with the low octane.

Will the LS1’s over here are tuned different than the US cars, I guess they are designed to even operate on leaded fuel, it doesn’t say USE LEADED FUEL ONLY on the gauge cluster nor the fuel cap or any where on the car and have only 2 O2’s instead of 4. The ones we get in Middle East are GCC spec. I’ll pull some readings when I get HP Tuners.
