Default Grease in my Throttle Body

I checked my LS1's throttle body recently and my finger came out full of grease. My car only has 22k miles on it. What is a safe way to clean this.

Thanks

I would just remove the TB and wipe it out with a clean rag dampend with rubbing alcohol.

Do you have a cam? Its possible it could be coming from the pcv valve due to high cylinder press. But I think this would only be if you had a cam.

High blowby at WOT will put enough pressure in
the crankcase, suction in the TB for the PCV
makeup line to draw oil fog back out the PCV
port in the TB.

Holley Powershot is a wet filter and might also
contribute to the goo. If so then the MAF may
want cleaning too, depending on how much
filter stuff you put on originally, and how much
is there anymore.
