I am interested in the velocity merge that kook uses... does it help out low and mid range trq and power???
will that type of collector work with a 224/224 tight lsa cam??

SLP LT's+L6 intake vs. QTP HVMC LT's+FAST90

I drove the car around with both headers on the ls6 intake and the HVM collectors really wake things up down low.

where both headers 1 3/4" or where the QTP's stepped???

Also, I am going with 2.5" X-pipe over the axle (79 Z28 LS1 swap), but I want all my trq down low, what mufflers should I use? will a straight thru type hurt my low end trq???

Both were 1 3/4"
X-pipe is great, 2.5" is fine. Muffler selection is subjective, but I'm partial to Magnaflow 4x9" Ovals.
