most people put it under the drivers seat, in the i-pipe, youll know where it goes, when you get under the car when they weld it. I would say, hell yeah do it! its great on a stock setup not to mention cheap HP! i paid like 30 for it plus 20 to weld it on.

Uh, yeah dude, a cutout will hold you for awhile. There's a WOT clip in my sig with me running a cutout on stock manifolds through a tunnel. It's a good sounding clip and you'll get an idea of how it sounds, very tough. A cutout is ALOT meaner and louder sounding than the stock muffler. Like posted earlier, follow the I pipe and you'll see a square section in the area of the passenger side back seat floorboard area. Looks like GM designed our cars to have a cutout there. Too far forward and you'll lose lots of backpressure.

I had some rasp with stock manifolds w/ cats, nothing to be worried about though.
Now that I have LT's w/ ORY, it puts a smile on my face everytime I gun it.

I had a 3" cutout installed under the passenger seat as well. It has a little rasp, but sounds much better. I guess I would recommend making sure you have it as far back as possible and aimed in a way that the exhaust does not bounce off of the undercarriage. That way you get a clean, crisp sound. The stock exhaust sucks. My car sounds soooo much better now.

Cut-Outs are great, have never heard them on a stock exhaust car but i bet they will sound terrific. Just save up for the GMMG, and for now you will have this. Who knows maybe you will love the sound of the Cut-Out that you might get Hooker Lt's and throw on a Cut-Out which i have heard and it sounds sweet.
