02 simms not working!

02 simms not working! My camaro always ran fine and never threw any codes. I decided to gut out my cats I then installed a pair of 02 simms. I bought the simms used online from some guy. Anyways after driving about 15 miles there came that darn check engine light. I am thinking the simms are bad? 
They looked to be in good condition. Is there any way to test the simms? Any input is welcome.

It's possible one of them could be bad - I'd read the code(s), if it's only one side you can swap them, if the code moves then you'll know. Could also be something else and just a coincidence.
