Default Will I feel a diffrence?

I'm about to install my kooks 1 3/4 stepped to a 1 7/8 w/a catted y-pipe and needed to know if I will feel a seat of the pants diffrence??? Also how will I be able to pass emissions here in Texas, with the engine service light on once I get the egr and air stuff out of the way?? Does the computer catch that when the car is tested or can i go under the dash and try to unplug the light so the tech doesn't see it?? Thanks any help appreciated..

Yes you'll feel a difference. To get your car to pass emissions in texas you need to go to some shop and have a partial tune. They will turn off the codes that will set the SES light, while still keeping them active and ready so that when the inspection guy plugs in the OBII it'll read that everything is working properly.

Even if you "unplugged" the light ... when he plugged into the OBII port it'd still read that the light had been set off.

Check out Texas Speed and Performance ... aka TSP @ www.Texas-Speed.com

they are in lubbock, and I am pretty sure they can do the partial tune for you. Atleast I'm PRETTY sure they can.
