Default Photos of MAFless bellows

Some of you have asked for photos of how I made the transition from my MTI lid to my 90mm Nick Williams TB using no MAF. I used the rubber adapter that comes with the SLP 85mm MAF to connect to a 4" diameter 5" length section of exhaust pipe to the Air Lid. Next I used a 4" hump hose (part number 3H4 from www.airflo.com $11.88) to connect the 4" pipe to the 90mm TB. Works beautifully. When we dynoed the car with no hose attached (completely open), the car lost 4rwhp. So I guess the setup works well.

Better street manners when running a cam with lots of overlap and no restriction in the intake passage.

Great job man! I love looking at clean f-body engine compartment setups. Everything looks like it belongs there.

BTW, how's the FAST intake working out? It looks great in there.

The ported FAST 90/90 is one of the best mods I've done. Swapping from an LS6 intake/ported TB to the FAST 90/90 was worth more power gains than I got swapping from stock manifolds/cats to Kooks headers/cats. I gained 27 rwhp with the FAST and 22 rwhp with the Kooks.

Wow, that's an impressive gain for an intake and a TB. Maybe that will be my next mod. I've been thinking about heads, but this seems like an easier way to pick up some power. Any fitment issues, or anything to watch out for?

There's nothing like a silver metallic T/A. I think it's the best color.

Congrats!!

BTW Patrick, looking again at your engine compartment, I was thinking how cool your valve covers would look if you painted them with hi-temp black, and clear-coated them with hi-temp clear coat. Just a thought.
