Default Whats the Difference

Hello all !!! I was wondering what the deifference was between the LS2 intake maifold and the LS6 intake manifold? I purchased an LS2 intake and a F.A.S.T. 90mm TB for my 99 Z28 problem is that some other folks in another forum are telling me that I goofed up Any info would be very helpful

The LS6 is a much better intake and is a direct bolt on. You will need some extra parts to make the LS2 work, and you won't really make any gains to speak of.

Some mag (Hot Rod I think) did a dyno test ls6 vs ls2 the only change was the intake, and the ls6 was the better performer, so sell the ls2 and get the ls6

Is there an Ls6 manifold w/ a 90mm TB opening? And was the hp gain big?

The LS6 intake manifold will accommodate a 75mm TB. You don't need a 90mm TB, nor will it fit the LS6. A ported stock TB would be perfect.

Im planning for bigger mods in the future, though a 90mm TB MAY be a tad over kill I wanted to be able to get all the air i could in the engine....BOOST!!! But as far as a 90mm TB its FAST or Ls2?
