Default Which Taylor ignition wires?

The 8.2mm wires look better than acceptable according to the description. Have seen a lot of guys choosing the 10.4mm Taylor ignition wires instead. Is there really a major performance difference between the two? Thank-you.

When I did my coil relocation I bought some 8mm Taylors and custom made a set. They are perfect, redline is 6,800rpm. I don't see 10mm wires being any better...
