Default Maf?

Im going to get the slp lid and was wondering if i needed to get a aftermarket mafs to.I was reading on the mafs and it said they say you get 40 percent more air flow and 8-10 more hp is this true or are they just saying that so you will buy it?just wondering before i start blowing money away.

Keep the stock MAF . Don't waste your money on an aftermarket one .

Don't get one, you'll end up putting the stock one back on if you ever put in a cam or put headers on. The slp maf can cause nightmares when trying to tune (ie. the car won't start or idle). I've been down that road and I wish I didn't waste my money on it. Just polish it up and make it look nice and u'll be good to go.

no, because the gains, if any are marginal. do a search for MAF titles only. this topic has been beat to death
