I have been driving mine untuned for about 10 months, mpg didn't really change. Although I am not getting the full potential out of them being untuned. If you aren't doing a cam or something in the next six months, do yourself a favor and get a tune. I wish I had.

this is a much talked about subject. you just need a basic tune for now. the pcm is actually reading lean so it dumps more fuel in so it runs rich. you may get a mile or so better gas mileage with a tune.

well I just assume, it smells like gas, it has the "slipperier than water" texture of gas, and I cant think of anything else that would build up there????

But I havent set fire to it to test it out yet.
