Default stock MAF help

alright, so some how i managed to get some of the foam lining from the mti airlid sucked into my MAF (it was descreened when i bought the car). so it melted on the wires (or the resistors) and caused the maf to "F" up, i cleaned it and it worked for a day and now its acting up again, is there any type of spray or cleaner that can solve this ( to remove the crap off the maf), everyone is asking alot for the maf and i was wondering if mine is gone for good, or if it is and someone can tell me were i can get a good deal on another one.

Just get a speed density tune, MAFless tuning.

try SPDC ----> for a deal on a new MAF, or check the classifieds/ebay for someone getting rid of theirs.

You'll be forever trying to get your maf to work now, more than likely it is now junk. Bob
