Default problems after header install!!! Please help

I installed pacesetter LTs on my 00 ss and now it keeps throwing codes and want idle right. I had my buddy turn off the rear o2s codes. I had to extend my front o2s by splicing wires in. I have doupble checked and triple checked the front o2s and everything looks fine. The codes are lean bank 1 and 2. and insufficent switching front o2s. it will idle fine and then all the sudden it will start trying to die. Then it will idle fine again. Please help. I can't figure this out. Thanks, Brett

When you say you spliced them in, did you just twist them or did you use solder. These connections need to be soldered in.

I consider myself pretty good at minor
electronics/soldering, etc, but I went
with the pre fab extensions. From what
I understand, the O2s need a fresh air
supply (for a reference, I guess) and if
that gets FUBAR'd, the O2 sensor does
not work right. Also, as dudas35 said,
make sure you solder the connections,
butt connectors are too iffy for such a
critical sensor.
The butt connectors/wiring I got with
my pacesetters have never been out of
the bag.
Hope you get it straightened out, what
ever the problem is.
Gerald
