i would just go with an SLP LS6 intake that has EGR on it already, just to keep things simple.

Although the SLP is a little pricey, I would have to agree that it would be the easiest if you want to keep the EGR.

Should be able to just cut the hole out. I would get the SLP or ditch the ERG.

yeah you can cut the hole out, but then there is nothing to bolt it to, SLP, no EGR or have someon epoxy an LS1 intake nose onto an LS6 intake...

just get rid of the egr.. if you have a tuner it most likely will be able to delete the code..i got the diablo sport one and the guy emailed me a new tune with the code deleted..so its like my car never had and egr b4...

whats the reason for wanting to keep it?? it looks way nicer without it in the engine bay cleans it pretty good.

Will it still pass smog (the sniffer) if the egr is deleted? I know you have to delete the code to pass the OBD II inspection.

Not sure if it will pass the sniffer, but I know that it will fail the visual.
