Is a dual exhaust worth the money to install?

Absolutely. The sound is amazing and power gains are huge. Very good flow, very good sound and not too expensive. I'd do it immediately.

If you are willing to deal with the high volume and occassional exhaust fumes they are WELL worth it.

True duals are insane. I put down 341/354 with mods in the sig. Great flowing exhaust helps a lot. And me personally I love the look of duals on a camaro. A t/a is a little different because you kind of EXPRECT the tips where the areas for tips are. But anyways DUALS own any exhaust IMO.

Yep. Loud as hell inside the car if you dump them though. My next setup will be over the axle if I go TD's again.

Well worth it. I love mine. If you angle the tips out to the sides instead of straight down it will help with the drone, and I put some dyno mat, actually it was phat mat in my car and it helped even more. I could never go back to a y-pipe setup again.

They are so definetly worth it. When i first bought my car i had stock headers, y, and slp loud mouth. Then switch to SLP LT's, 3" Xpipe, & Magnaflow 4x9's. Just recently switched the Magnaflows to Sweet Thunder mufflers. And let me tell you that True duals are the best exhaust systems out there. Tons of people have complemented me on how good it sounds.

Besides when you have the exhaust dumped it looks absolutely mean (this was before i took off the magnaflows for the sweet thunder)

True duals are great. Mine are lanes TD's dumped before the axel and there isn't much drone at all unless you are in 5th or 6th gear(M6). I think they are cheaper than a Y-pipe and catback anyways.

I just extended my TD's out the back because the interior noise finally got to me. It still sounds really good, but so much better inside the car. Dump them for now and extend them out the back when you have the money. I will post pics next week when I have the tips welded on.

The only reason I wouldn't get TD is I've heard the interior noise it annoying. I just got out of my Stang, and it's nice to have a car that's quite inside for a change.
The power gains are not much more either.

I dont THINK so unless you have the extra money to spend, and its not like you get to enjoy looking at them. You guys are using all 2 1/2 right?I got some serious 3 1/2 pipe right from the headers all the way back to 7 1/2 oval tips.No cats either;I got so much air flowing i had to put a resonator on it to keep it from burping.

well for one some peopel need back pressure and not 3.5in pipe ( im kinna curious to why you do). second how to you get extra money to spend its cheeper than a good catback and ory. you dont have to look at them its all about the sound that the x makes its amazing ask anyone they will tell you its a much diffrent sound from a catback with ory trust me i used to have borla with mac mids and ory and it sounded liek *** imo i love my duals for the price you cant go wrong....oh an di use 3in from headers to x-pipe then 2.5" all teh way back without cats

Nobody needs backpressure. Any backpressure is bad. What you might need is exhaust gas velocity.

Duals sound MUCH better than a Y-pipe. I LOVE my duals with large cam. The idle and large throttle opening sound freaking AWSOME.

There is a measurable horsepower gain as well, especially under the curve.

No, for duals 2.5" is enough for most people. (up to cam or heads/cam for most)

Worth the money? I only spent $150 for my duals. So yes it was well worth it.
