Default spark plug gap

i'm changing the plugs on my brother's 01 WS6.

The car had TR55s in it already, so I guess someone had already changed the factory plugs out.
When i pulled those out, they had over a 1mm gap. We bought TR55 platinums to replace them(all NAPA had). Anyways, the gap on the new ones looks like the same on the ones that I pulled out.
The car has been running fine with that gap(just changing them because it idles a little rough)

What should I gap them at?
