Think Kooks are a little different in the collector area. Going with the QTP pipes would be the best way to go.

QTP ones suck. Do not fix well. AT ALL It took us 2 hours of welding and cutting to get them to fit. I would but the kooks if I had to do it again. The QTP headers are good.

Kooks Y will not fit. the collectors are different so it causes them not to mate up. I have a Mufflex Y which is the same as the QTP Y... Takes a little work but it fit pretty well. You just have to work with it a little. I didn't have to cut up or anything on mine.

I'd go for kook LT's with their Y-pipe. Unless it's too late and you have the QTP LT's already.

Mine hangs somewhat low, but nothing rediculous. As for getting it to fit, it was hard work getting a few of the pipes to slide over the others, then rotate them up towards the body to fix ground clearance. Hell I did this on jackstands and was my first header/y pipe install. Maybe I got lucky, but as far as I can tell, it just takes some patience.
