Should have asked some of the sponsors here to help you out After all they do pay for the site.

I'll agree with Flaminchiten67, although nice products, you could have saved some money by ordering with one of our many sponsors.

Summit was more expensive than several sponsors for the pacesetters that I ordered this week.

I usually always order from Summit, but decided to check the sponsor offerings.

Anyway, coated "race" pacesetters on the way for $25 or so less (shipped) than summit.

The only thing I don't like about that setup is the materials. I've come to prefer stainless over the years, but that comes at a price. On the plus side it will sound great.

I was quoted $395 shipped from one vendor, but he didn't know when they would be in stock or when I could get them delivered. I got mine from Speed Inc (ls1speed.com) because he had a set in stock and could ship them out that day. I think it was $409 shipped for them from there.

Normally I would wait to save a few bucks, but I have an engine waiting on headers so it can go into the car and it wasn't worth $14 to wait a few weeks.

I don't know how you got that from summit, unless they cut you a deal over the phone. Their website lists them at $429.69 for part number 72C2256. I have price matched with them once on another part, but they would only match the shipped price. Unless you have a long list of parts to order (I didn't) you might as well buy from the cheaper vendor to begin with (I did).
