Default Xpipe VS Muffler off Collector

At this point i just got my LTs in and now i have to decide on what kinda of collector back exhaust i want. I have the summit xpipe kit 3in, but i kinda want to just put some Sweet thunders, Xr1s, Bullets. I hear that you get more ponies out of A muffler off the collector. Help me out gentleman

Best scavenging comes from a crossover, with an X-pipe slightly better than an H. Just like mufflers, not all X pipes are created equal. People around here seem to like the Dr. Gas pieces the most.

Do you mean sticking a muffler on the collector like that? i'd imagine it would give you the maximum flow up top, but you'd sound like a top fuel dragster when you were in the drive through at mcdonalds
EDIT: i missed the part about the x-pipe you already have. IMO i'd just install the x-pipe and put the mufflers on the end before the axle, seems to be the norm for performance.

If you have the summit x-pipe use you won't be dissapointed.
