Search for threads on poly motor mounts. Fixed all my problems, and if I get time I am going to try to move the y up more.

muffler shop has a custom hanger..he loosens the trans mount take out the bolt slides the half spacer in between the floor board and mount then he welds the hanger to the pipe, puts the bolt back in ..done!

Mufflex makes a hanger that prevents it from hitting the floor anymore. I'm pretty sure I got mine from Thunder Racing.

Driver's side poly motor mount worked great for my car. No more banging Y-pipe and the engine doesn't shake as much. The install is kinda a pain in the *** though.

As everyone else has said, use hangers, springs, or poly mounts.

You can put a peice or rubber between the pipe and the floor if you know where its banging for a temp fix...

Try www.thunderracing.com or you can also find them at autozone for about $20 each in the section where they have all the poly mounts.
