will the true duals hang lower with the slp longtubes more than with the other longtubes or will just the headers themselves hang lower? will the clearance be ok on a stock ride height car? and will the 17" rims i have give me more clearance with the slp longtubes than regular 16" rims?

17s will not give you any more clearance than 16s. The sidewall on the 17in tire is shorter than the 16in tire sidewall, making the overall wheel+tire the same height. I you havent already bought them, Dont get slp longtubes. They hang super low. And they are expensive. Go with pacesetter or jet hot.

I doubt that TSP TDs will fit SLP LTs without a little modification. They would hang just as low as the collector of the header(pretty low). As was stated above the 17s won't give you any extra clearance due to the shorter sidewall. You could always get some springs like I've got in my Z. I think they accidentally installed Z71 springs instead of Z28 springs cause my car sits high as hell. Noticeably higher than all of my friends' F-bodies.

don't buy the slp, if you have they will hang low, and hit most speed bumps. if you are gonna spend the money oon the slp's just get a set of kooks. better quality, fit, and flow.

DO NOT!!! DO NOT GET SLP LT'S!!! I have them because i got them at a good deal, but to spend that kinda of money just get Kooks. Save yourself the kick in the *** from scraping on everything, because they hang extremely low.

depends on what 17" TIRE you put on the 17" rims. the rim size is only part of the equation.

stock 245/50-16 25.7" tall
stock 275/40-17 25.7" tall
go with a 255/50-17 and now you tire diameter is 27.1" tall. now you take half the difference between the diameters of the stock size and that's how much the car is raised off the ground.

27.1" - 25.7" = .7" the car will sit higher off the ground.

They aint bullshitting, my slp's hit at the collectors at stock height. They were already on there when I bought the car.
