i have a slp loudmouth and was thinking about getting an ORY and was just wondering which one is best with the loudmouth catback and also does it replace your cats when you put in a ORY

ORY means off road y pipe. Off road because its not emissions legal and is intended for off road use only. So yes it will replace cats.

Also you need headers to use with an ORY, although I think you can get an off road setup for manifolds. Waste of $ to me.

we don't have emissions testing here in columbus...so will there be a big difference in sound also i have shorty headers right now will i need to get longtubes

I think mufflex makes some off road cat bypass pipes that bolt in place of the cats but dont hold me to that.

Really, you are wasting money by working around the shorties. The most practical thing to do is put a set of longtubes on your car along with an ORY and good catback or a cutout. A set of TSP duals are only 400 bucks. Thats cheaper than a ory and catback and will sound and perform better.

on a true dual system are longtubes a MUST HAVE im a little low on cash right now.....thanks for all the help

You can put them on the manifolds, but you won't see as much hp as if you put headers on as well.

will an ORY work with shortie headers i know nobody really likes em and thinks they are a waste of money im just concerned with will they work together or not

you can always get a y-pipe and cut it to make it fit. don't know if anyone makes one for shorties. you could always try selling the shorties to someone that is going the turbo route, and pick up a set of pacesetters and ory for cheap.
