Default Intake

I have a Stock 2002 camaro ss and a guy told me if i add a Granatelli mass air flow sensor, a BBk throttle body, and a Holley Intake manifold, it would'nt do any good unless i change my heads. Is this true?

He's wrong, although you dont need the granatelli MAF. Im sure the BBK is similar to my MTI which is actually an Accu-fab and you can see my numbers
Those are stock heads on a 2000 trans am and stock exhaust manifolds numbers in sig.

i wouldnt change the intake manifold you already have the LS6 manifold and that is a really good flowing manifold, and changin the mass air flow sensor is pointless unless your pushing 500 HP. but the throttle body can be changed and you may get some HP but more often most people port the stock throttle body and that helps.

Yeah you definately dont need the intake either, didn't catch your year at first. So ditch the maf and the intake unless you want the intake for looks.

headers, heads, cam, underdrive pulley, there are many different things you can do. but mainly headers will be a good upgrade and everyone will say it is also lol. and plus i am going to be installing my headers next weekend anyways so i can tell you once i get them installed if it was a noticeable difference. oh and new plugs and wires will be a good idea also when doing this.
