Kooks y with qtp headers
I have a 408 and right now my y pipe leaks where it meets with the headers. The fitment at that point sucks. I have the high velocity merge collectors and they don't mate well at all. can't tighten the clamp enough to stop the leak. Wondering if the kooks y pipe will fit to the QTP 1 7/8 headers. Also wondering which cat-back you guys are running with your 408. Right now I have a 4'' bullet off of the y hanging before the rear. Love the sound, but not the cops. Already tried a hooker with the 408 and didn't like. Anyone elso have some experience on this or sound clips with a cat back. Can't find any on LS1sounds. Thanks for your help.

I've got the Stainless Works 3 1/2" catback.
Sounds great. Its not really loud till you open up the throttle, just the way it should be. Nice deeper tone with no drone in the car. Its kinda got that Nascar sound at WOT
Also very unrestrictive, who needs cutouts.
I had Kooks make me a Y with a 3 1/2 inch outlet to match it.

I had the 1 3/4" QTP HVMC LT's and the clamps supplied don't work at all.
I went to a ricer shop and bought some 2 1/2" (I'm not exaclty sure what size, but they were less than 3") turbo clamps and they had enough clamping force to stop any leaks. They worked well.
