Default How loud would this custom system be?

Headers -> custom ORY (3in mandrel bends into a 4" Flowmaster Merge), 4" I-pipe with somthing along the lines of a 26" Powerstick back into 4" -> 2x3" Flowmaster Merge -> XR-1 on each pipe -> exit out the back.

This would be with a loud cammed car.

Its funny you say that because thats what I was gonna build only with some cheaper mufflers.

I have thought about the same system except using a 4" in/out bullet in the I pipe that way you dont need mufflers in the back. Kinda like a 4" version of a Loudmouth or dynomouth.

let me know if you get this system build soon as I'd like to hear (so to speak) what you have to say about it

Hopefully, that's what I'm shooting for. I'm looking for maximum flow, but I still want to keep it civilized.

Two 3" pipes have a cross-sectional area of 2*3^2*pi or 56.5in whereas a single 4" pipe has an area of 4^2*pi or 50.3in. Assuming air flows as an ideal fluid, the 4" pipe is still two small for the dual 3"ers, so why is it pointless?

you can take true duals out the back and have it be quieter. the exhaust velocity in a smaller pipe size would probably benefit you more anyway.

Keep in mind as exhaust gasses cool off they condense. I would think stepping down the pipe size would not hurt at all, but maybe even help keep velocity up.

Yeah, you've pretty much read my mind too.
I'd love to hear what 2 XR1s sound like.

OOps didn't see the powerstick. I was thinking of wacking
off my XR-1 on my "Borlamouth" and putting 2 in the
stock muffler location, keeping 3" all the way.
Unfortunately, no welder coming for Christmas.
