Default Intake or headers?

would an intake or headers be more proficient for a first major mod. I'm thinking of edelbrocks w/ x-pipe and xr1's on the end and an ls6 intake. I have a ported throttle body, bypass, my hood is cut out for ram air, bottom of air box is cut out, mainly home mods.

not to be a wise ***.. both.

No intake w/ headers you'll definately get gains, and lesser of an amount vice versa, but you'll maximize the intake and exhaust freeing them both up at the same time.

Go for a lid (see sponsors.. ---->) and do the free ramair mod, and get headers, edelbrocks have good reviews, and pacesetters w/ TSP X-pipe is a popular combo as well (texas speed -->)

LT's should give more bang for the buck.
