Im sure this will be an easy question for someone out there but here goes. There is a hose on my 98 that goes from one valve cover to the other on back side does anyone know if its for the PCV or what ist use is, mine is burnt in half wondering if i can just plug it or to replace the line with new or a hose barb.

You can replace it with new line but leave it intact.
