Default QTP w/HVMC or Kooks?

With the new price drop from QTP I was wondering which headers you guys would buy and why? I tried to do a search and didn't come up with anything.

I can only speak for the QTP HVMC LT's as those are all I have experience with other than SLP LT's. They were a great improvement over the SLP LT's both in SOTP and on the dyno. Car picked up power everywhere, especially in low to mid range, and that's what velocity is all about. Peak #'s improved to boot.

Pacesetters with true duals

If one or the others, definately what ^^ said, QTP w/ HVMC.

Though $800 for the header and $359 for ORY or $550 for catted Y, is all that extra money with the small extra hp you get? SouthFL.02.SS had good gains from SLP to QTP, tho SLP = teh lose. Get Pacesetters and put the cash to other mods.. JMHO

either one is a good choice. the qtp's will probably give you a few more ponies from their collector though. i'm thinking about switching the qtp's i have now to the hvmc's

Some of us have money burning a whole in our pocket, and nothing is too good ha kidding But really if you can afford one of those, why not go with it. Every little bit counts, and you get stainless, and HVMC to boot.

I hope your pole results make it an easy choice, because there is no reason not to go with the HVMC since its the same price

QTP w/ HVMC all the way, just installed them myself this weekend. The fit & finish of these bad boys are CRAZY!! Before I put them on I had one of them posted up on my table as a form of "Modern Abstract Art". One of my friends who cant tell the difference between four banger and a LS1 noted:" That looks like it belongs on a hotrod ".....Even the non believers believe in QTP. I'll post up my gains after I get it tuned next week. Oh yea by no means am I knocking kooks, excellent headers as well, but for the price QTP is unpassable!!!

I've heard that Kooks y-pipes fit better. But if we are just comparing LT's and not y's, then yeah, QTP.

With their price drop and with the HVMCs, QTPs for the win. I have Kooks and would rather have the QTPs!

QTP's are the same quality header as Kooks, only are cheaper and will make more power with their HVMC's. QTP all the way................

qtp's are the only type of header I have had on my car. They will be the only kind I will ever use.

QTPs. Easy install. Great appearance. Great quality. Kooks is similar, in those respects, but, how can you pass up the new bargain. I may have to get another set...

QTP !!!
