did 01-04 c5 vettes come from the factory with an ls6 intake? what is the ls6 part number?

Check the sticky in the new LS1 & enthusiats forum, it explains all the differences.

But in answer yes, 97-00 Corvettes had the LS1 block and LS1 style intake manifold.

01-04 had the LS6 style intake manifold, and I beleive in the case of the Corvette you actually have the LS6 block as well (of course minus the internals, so it's still a LS1 engine).

All '01-'04 Corvettes and '01-'02 F-bodies have the LS6/ZO6 intake as the stock intake.

Unfortunitly the block issue isn't that clear cut.
