Default Powermaster XS torque starters???

I just bought one of these to help with the new motor and it hit the headers. What do you guy's that use these do?? Anyone have any ideas??

I don't know if very many people run them, but you might be able to take some material off of it somehow.

I'm gonna mess with it some tonite. I figure I'll have to dimple the Dynatechs or something. Deffinatly getting a starter blanket to keep the heat off. Thanks.

I've put a power master on a sbc, and the actual mounting base of the starter could be removed so that the starter could be moved in increments of 20* or so up to 80*. You could then turn the starter upside down and have 80* of motion that way as well. Does your starter have this capiblity? If it does, you should be able to find one place that should work.

I thought of that too, but not available on the LS1 starters.

With my FLP's, the Powermaster was a tight fit, but did fit in, once it was tightened in place, adequate clearance. What headers you running?
