Default Another TB?, this one different

Please tell me if this would work. The differance between 98-99 tb's and 00-02 tb's is the cam size on the end of the shaft correct? Can I get a 98 tb to P&P myself, and just replace the shaft and cam with the one out of my 2000 tb. I hope this makes sence. Thank in advance.

You should be fine if you replaced the shaft and cam.

Thanks. The only reason I would do this is if I found one real cheap. I would be able to take my time doing it. And if I screwed it up I still have mine, as I probably won't do anything to the shaft on mine. Then when it is done it would only be a few minutes to change everything over and reinstall.
