Default Torclite formed clamps with Kooks headers leak?

Hello,

I seem to have some minor leaks (audible but not visible so far) after the Kooks 1 3/4 install with cats. Can't pinpoint it - they sound like they are coming from underneath the car - but I dont see any exhaust coming
out anywhere - what is a good way to find such leaks. I suspect that the torclite formed clamps, which come with the system, are not "tight" enough
- has anybody experience with these either way? They are used between
the headers and the y-pipe and there is a third one joining the two piece y-pipe.

Thanks,
Gert

Default

put it up on jack stands and start it and get under it and feel for the leak.you will easily feel it and hear it,hopefully a ratchet and socket is all you will need.
