cutout question

Okay so I got a flowmaster catback with the horrible 80 series crossflow muffler.
My question is will the muffler still be restricting me alot even though I am running single 3"cutout

With the cutout open, it will be like no muffler at all, and thus, as free flowing as you're going to get with a y-pipe.
