Default Qtp longtube headers

My driver header is scraping aganist the steering linkage.I have the new style QTP's and they tack welded there symbol wright by the linkage.What's the bestway to fix this.

i had the same problem. i'm a machinist so it wasn't that hard for me,i just marked where it was hitting,took it off and turned down a piece of metal to fit inside the hole and then i undercut it where it was hitting and then i welded it.i also scribed a line down the part i cut so i could line it back up.if you could be without your car for a week or so more i can fix it for you for free,or a local welding-machine shop can help you out.

To bad I wasn't closer.Do I have to replace the linkage?I was thinking about dinging the header.

I just called Barry and he said to loosen up the header bolts and push the header up then tighten up all the bolts again.Does this sound right?The holes in the flange looked small.
