Default iintake gasket question

a friend of mine works a local auto parts store and said the intake gasket kit is supposed to have 3 pieces. gaskets for the ports, front of the intake, and back of the intake, but in the box there is only the gasket for the ports and he asked if I could use the sealer that comes in the tubes for the front and the back of the intake. I cant remember what its called. He had used it to seal his intake on his 355.

Has anyone used this or is there a place to get the complete gasket set. I looked on ls1speed and thunder racing's websites and couldn't find anything and the search obviously isnt working. So any help would be good.

You DO NOT have a gen I or a Gen II chevy motor. It is COMPLETELY different. All we have is a small rubber gasket for each intake runner and thats it.
On the old motors the intake actually seals the lifter valley. we have a seperate cover for that.
