LS6 Intake Swap Injector Spacing --HELP
Putting in a new LS6 intake today, and when we put the injectors in I noticed that they don't line up exactly. I've tried rocking them around and pushing them in more and it seems that the fuel rail bracket is what is holding them out. Take a look at these pictures, and let me know if you think I've done something incorrectly or if this is a non-issue. I was worried that if they are not down in the hole enough the walls might interupt the spray pattern causing fueling issues, or that they would leak.

They dont appear in all the way.On mine I coated the o-ring with white lithium grease and seated them all the way.Maybe you can lube the o-ring to get it in all the way.
I see you said you think the rail is holding it up.Maybe the rail somehow got bent. The injectors should sit flush.I'm not sure, but they might leak the way they are.I'd try to get the rail right.
I just went and looked at mine. Its off the car as well. All of mine sit down flush. So maybe it is your rail.

I did lube them up before putting them in, and since the last post I've tried putting them back on the LS1 intake manifold to see if they seat differently on it. It would appear that they sit at the same depth on it too.

No, no problems at all, they fell right into place. I mean the injectors are in there, and the fuel rail have them secure, its just the irregular spacing that I'm concerned with.
