I have the 2003 ZO6 maf. LOTS of extra tuning involved though.

You can, but why? You dropped all that money on a bigger intake on TB to restrict it w/ a stock MAF? Before you buy, see which 85mm MAF your tuner likes to work with. I did that and bought accordingly.

Also don't buy the FAST throttle body, pickup the LS2 one instead. Your tuner will thank you.

What I ended up doing was pulling the MAF entirely and going back to SD. I went from the TB to a Fernco 4"-4" coupler to a section of 4" PCV pipe. I then cut the back off of my 75mm lid and fiberglassed it to the PVC pipe. It turned out pretty well. I still have to bondo it and paint it to make it look pretty.

85mm GMAF is what I have. I went with a TPIS 90TB also. I first bought the Fast TB-it sucked bigtime. Alos honed mu TNT ring to a 90mm also. If your going to spend the money, do it right!

Why should you not buy the fast TB?

Hmmmmm considering the LS2 TB is not CABLE PULLED like the others, i'd say he would be screwed and never make it to the tuner. He has a TA, not a vette.

EDIT - just noticed he had sold the TA..... What kinda car is this going on?

The fast 90/nw 90 is a good combo.

TSP sells an 85mm lid, and a few companies sell 85mm MAF's. Call Chuck@HPE and see if he could do a SD tune, then you could chunk the MAF all together!

Get a MAF for a 2002 ZO6 and bring it by for tuning. Do NOT, and I repeat, do NOT get an aftermarket MAF of any kind! If you do, I will beat you up and throw bricks on your car and never tune it again. I might even light it on fire.

LOL. Tell us how you really feel about aftermarket MAF's. I had a GMS MAF when the car was stock and it caused nothing but problems from erratic idle to running ultra-lean. Put the stock MAF back on and all the problems went away.

FWIW- I run a descreened 2001 ZO6 MAF (IAT sensor is still in the lid), TSP 85mm lid, NW TB and stock coupler.

I still run the descreened stocker. It still has the divider but all edges are smooth or sharp. Car runs like a champ.
