Default How many cutouts?

I wanted some opinions. I am installing my pacesetter headers this weekend and wanted to get cutouts for it(electric), Didn't know if you are supposed to use only one or could you stick one on both sides of the headers? I have also bought the TR 224/224/112 sep. cam kit to be installed in a few weeks, I thought it would sound badass with two cutouts! any info. would be great!

It's an 02' ws6

If you are using a y-pipe, I would simply go with one to save money, as the sound/performance wouldnt change to a noticeable degree with 2. But if you are doing duals, obviously you'd have to go with 2 but putting any on there would be pointless at that point...

Are you going to run duals or have a catback?

I have asked this question before and always been told that having dual cutouts on a stock cube LS1 is a waste of money....

Is it pointless to run a cutout after cats too? Im looking to add LTs to my borla and want to run a catted y. Suggest a cutout after the cats so i get a few more ponies and some rumble?

Doesn't the Borla have a cut out built into the system? If I remember correctly, there are restriction plates on the Borla. Use the one with the least restriction.

However, there is a nice place in the rear of the I-pipe just before it goes up and over the rear axle. There is a notched area in the floorboard that allows plenty of room.

Good luck,

Al

Thanks for the info and help guys! I do have a cat back and didn't think of just putting one cutout on it.
