I believe that Magnaflow picked up 13 rwhp and 17 rwtq on the dyno when they tested it. Pretty much one of the best-flowing catbacks on the market and has a great rumble. If you've got the D1SC, you may pick up even more.

I would have thought the catback they offer must be pretty good, but with a supercharger you are well exceeding the capability of a normal engine.
Any idea how much power the engine is producing?
An alternative idea would be to buy something like a Loudmouth and swap in a Magnaflow bullitt muffler. Magnaflow recommended part number 14619
http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=660
This is a 14" long muffler 6" diameter and 3" inlet/outlet. It should flow well enough to be a minimal restriction on a 500bhp motor, this would place it at being as good and probably better than most off the shelf catbacks. It would be LOUD though. They also offer the same muffler in a 4" diamter which will be louder still.
The biggest problem you really face is the tubing @ 3" is the main restriction on the level of BHP your engine is likely to be producing. If you plan on 600+bhp from the motor then a consideration of 3.5" or even 4" tubing should be considered for the best results.
A 2.5" dual system would be an alternative and about equal in flow to a 3.5" Y pipe. But dual setups have other issues so REASEARCH before deciding.
Personally if you have a bolt on 7psi blower car with ~460-500rwhp I'd go for a custom exhaust, as it will give you the most benefit. Something like the Magnamouth above would get my vote.
Else you'll need to upgrade your Y pipe also.
Alternative idea would be:
3.5 Y pipe, with a good Y Merge collector into a single race style bullett muffler (Magnaflow offer a 3.5 inlet/outlet race muffler, but it costs). 3.5" over the axel spliting using a reverse Y into either 3" or 2.5" pipe and exiting on each side of the car.

The magnaflow catback in question has shown to make power over stock in FI cars as well as NA.
Here is a 2001 Camaro SS stock and after the MagnaFlow cat-back:
Here is a 2000 Camaro Z28 single turbo, custom headers, stock short-block, custom tuning with stock catback vs MagnaFlow cat-back:

I will be designing a 3.5" diameter system with a turn down outlet for the racer looking for that MEAN and AGGRESSIVE exhaust note. This will not be a SAE J1169 complaint product. Also look for a new look system for those looking for somethign other than the singlewall slash product offering we make now.
