Default Oil Fill spout on Valve Cover

Mine has a crack on my 2001 Z28...how do you get it out of valve cover for replacement? I tried twisting counter clockwise and won't budge..afraid it will break off and plastic pieces will fall in etc..

any advise appreciated!

Look down inside you will see a small release tab, that needs to be pryed up-out to let the tube out. It will more than likly brake and you will need to replace the tube. At least that is why it went for me. New tub is about 6.00 @ dealer, sorry dont recall the P/N.

Just brake it off. It's hard to get out. I broke a small little piece when I pulled mine off
