Default spark plugs

I am just wondering what plugs to run in my 98 T/A. i am doing longtubes and true duals, and then getting it tuned. i hear alot about NGK TR-55's but i didnt think that they were a platinum plug, and that was standard on the car from the factory, at least i think it was. cause there was an NGK TR-55IR also, and then one other model when i was at Advanced Autoparts. i just wanted to know what i should run in the car. thanks!

I think the majority of responses will be for the TR-55's. I do not think your mods would warrant anything different.

You'll like them, just not the install

I have them in mine, second set.

A NGK TR-55IR Is an Iridium plug, which would actually be better than A platinum plug if you dont mind forkng over the cash for them.

Standard NGK TR55s are perfect, nothing else is needed for your setup.

I've used the basic TR55s gapped at .055" in both my cammed WS6 and bolt-on Z28, works great.

I had a set of TR55's in my '95 and they worked great.
