Not a whole lot, but I've removed mine too. There's now less accessories for the engine to turn so that frees up a few horsepower. It also sheds quite a bit of weight and makes the engine bay look cleaner.
I figured I don't use the air conditioning anyways, so I might as well get rid of it. I'd much rather ride around with the windows down.

You will gain 0 hp. The only way it will help, is from a weight reduction standpoint. The only time the belt from the a/c will slow you down, is when you are using your a/c. You will get the same gain if you just turn your a/c off. The a/c turns off at wot, but you will lose hp down low with it on. Spinning high rpm's with your a/c on is a good way to ruin it anyways.

An underdrive pulley will free up a few hp. With an a/c delete you are looking at more like .000025 hp. Not worth a delete in my book. They only reason I took mine out was because it didn't work. Otherwise I'd gladly give up .000025 hp for the option of using the a/c.

have any of you spun the compressor when the belt was off? its cake... so not worth it at all, as for those who say they dont use it, theres never been a hot muggy day when it just started to rain, unless you drive around w/ the windows down in the rain thats cool i guess.

with the ac gone you can now make a bigger custon ram air, the condenser in no longer infront of the radiator..., more hp, so the mod is worth it...lose weight and gain mph with a little work

Its an age difference thing. I think you probably must have to be under 25 or 30 to really want to remove your AC completely. Over 30 (or over 40 like me) you keep the top on and the windows up and have the AC serviced now and then.........
