Default Coating QTP or Kooks headers?

has anyone coated their SS headers?? reason i ask is because i want to know how my under hood temps would be affected or if it would hurt anything, thanks!

It will reduce underhood temps and not hurt a thing .

sorry, i shoulda been more clear, would NOT coating them hurt anything under the hood besides hotter temps? i mean would it affect anything going bad faster, etc. thanks!

there is no need to coat them. they do look badass once coat though. i think its lawman who had his kooks coated. they came out very nice.

There's really no reason to coat stainless steel headers. The stainless steel already keeps temperatures cooler than mild steel would. It's really just for appearance. Kooks does offer their headers coated, but it adds another couple hundred dollars. QTP probably does too, but I haven't checked.
