What's the difference?? I read in another thread that Kooks and QTP are made by the same company.... so are Venturi Collectors the same thing as High Velocity Merge Collectors??

Main reason is the Kooks shows 1 7/8 headers, and QTP doesn't sell 1 7/8 anymore.

Kooks and QTP are NOT made by the same company AFAIK.

They are pretty much the same, but QTP will be a little cheaper I would think since they reduced the price on their HVMCs.

QTP is supossed to be coming out with their 1 7/8" headers with the HVMC soon, which i'm sure will be only slightly more than their 1 3/4" headers are now.

HVMC's are not the same thing. Just take a look at a picture of a set, and you will see the difference right away.

These days you can get QTP's w/ HVMC for the same price as Kooks without them. They are both TOP quality pieces.

I called QTP and they said the 1 7/8 had been called off. I'll probably just do the 1 3/4 anyway. From what I have heard, I won't need the 1 7/8 unless I get a 402 + CID motor.
