Default How much loss of oil thorugh dip stick tube inlet???

I just installed my headers and forgot to put the dip stick tube back in in my ls1 01 ws6 I was just wondering how much oil I lost you think and if it is safe to drive my car back up to the garge to get it I drove around all day with the tube out I noticed oil on the drive way thats what made me remember. I have not noticed a drop in oil pressure.

It is not pressurized, so only oil splashing will fly out. You should be fine.....

Dump in an extra 1/2 quart for some peace of mind and go get that bad boy. If you have another vehical or a friend, i would not drive it, only to keep oil from getting every where. Make sure you watch the guage like a hawk.

like he said, you shouldn't loose much, if any. as long as you have oil pressure and its not overheating, you'll be fine to drive it wherever.
