Default Guage Help Fast!!!!

I just installed a autometer air fuel guage and it is not working...I tapped into the #69 purple with white stripe wire and nothing is working. The only thing it will do is light up and stay on rich and nothing else...Any ideas????

Either the car is running rich or maybe it's the gauge. Could also be a cold O2 sensor. If it stays rich after a few minutes, then maybe disconnect the purple/white wire & try the purple wire on the right bank to see if it's the same (rich).

i know this isnt what u asked but i just ran mine to the front 02 sensor, i bought a connection that goes in between the 02 sensor and the wire and it gives an extra air/fuel gauge wire
