Default catback install ?

When doing this is install it ok to jack up the car by the rear axle? Will this cause any kind of preload that will throw off the allignment of the system? I guess I could put the rear on jackstands and let everything hang. Any advice on this is much appreciated! Thanks.

I put mine in with the back end on ramps (pretty much the same as having the rear on jackstands, the suspension is loaded) had no problems putting on my Rumbler, it might be different depending on what system you put in

for safety reasons, you should never use a jack to hold a car up - only lift it to the point you want it and drop it on jack stands or ramps

i did mine fine with jack stands
