Default question on ls6 intake

I was wondering if it is possible to take the piece in the back of the intake off. This is the part that has 2 vacumm lines and I believe a spot for the map sensor. mine broke during shipping (the part that actually holds the sensor in) and I have the ls1 intake part that I can use im just not sure if this part can be removed.
any help would be great.

im not for sure. im guessing the people who shipped your intake are not responsible for any damages that occurs during shipping? id probably email slp about it, they should know since no one is responding here.

if you cant get anywhere with getting it replaced by the shipping company i would atleast give it a shot. 3M makes some very strong two part glue that i would imagine could hold it together. TPIS uses some type of glue i believe when they put an oval throttle body opening on the modified ls6 intakes

I used my LS1 sensor on the FAST intake with no problems. Just put some sealer on there to make sure that it is gonna stay put.
