I have them on my car one of the easiest headers I have installed. Make sure you get the car as high as possible and they will slide right in. Did u buy there whole kit with the Y pipe and o2 extentions?

the 4 piece y-pipe gave us more trouble than both headers, the headers slide right in.go ahead and lose the a.i.r and get you some block-off plates to seal the fittings.

I had to grind off a casting tab on the block to get the drivers side to go up and in. I reused the stock metal gasket and header bolts too. No leaks or loose bolts after 2k miles.

I just did them on YellowMonster's car, Before you actually go and put the headers in, take out the driverside plugs and the steering rod. It took me about 2 hours to take off ALL of the old stuff off and put on the new headers doing that. It's very easy for ya and just be patient.

We took the coil packs off during my installation, takes about 10 minutes, afterwards It didn't seem as cluttery. Over all, it was a piece of cake, except for the T/S ypipe, which took longer than the header installation. Just make sure your car is off the ground as high as you can get it, and that should be your biggest problem..

Hey guys.....I didn't get the Y-Pipe, strictly because my buddy owns an exhaust shop, so we're fabbing a custom Y w/ cats........but it looks like the headers would be a bitch! So, just remove the coils, plugs, wires and move the motor over? Do I need to go in from the top or bottom?

Dont move the motor over or take of the coils, you dont need to do either of that. they both go in from the bottom also.
Remove all the wires from both sides (emmission equiptment also) and the ds plugs and the steering arm. After that, you shouldnt have to take off ANYTHING if the car is high enough off the ground. The motor doesnt need to be moved either.

The headers go ion from the bottom. I took the coils off to keep from f**king my arms up getting bolts in place. It makes things a little easier to get to, but you don't have to remove them. Pull them out of the way if you want to. I removed the spark plugs after i removed the stock manifolds, but didn't remove the steering shaft. Most prople don't actually, they just take a file/sawzall/hacksaw to the piece of casting flash on the left side of the block near the bellhousing. Remove 1/8", then they slip right in. No need to move the motor or unbolt enging mounts unless you are replacing them (it is a good time to do that). Use search to find a picture of where to grind. Just use a simple metal blockoff that you can make or buy one that a sponsor sells -----> cheap either way.

What do you mean by this. not sure i understand. clarify and ill try to answer
